Kamratföreningens styrelse utsåg i februari 2017, Hans och undertecknad att bilda en arbetsgrupp med mål att påverka försvarsberedningen, att Sollefteå har utomordentliga möjligheter att ge plats för ett nytt utbildningsförband. 

Arbetsgruppen bestod förutom oss två av Kerstin Svensson, Bertil Mattsson Bill Tåqvist och Lena Asplund

Gruppen träffade John Åberg från kommunens politiska ledning den 6 mars. Resultatet blev att kommunen inrättade en arbetsgrupp under ledning av Hans Pahlin. En genomarbetad strategi utarbetades. Information framtogs. Sakkunniga knöts upp med uppdrag att förse beslutsfattare med korrekt information. 

Som ni vet gav arbetet resultat.
